Wound to Spec
Step-Up Transformers, Wound to Spec
A step-up transformer raises incoming line voltage to the higher level your equipment requires — 208 V to 480 V, 240 V to 480 V, or any ratio your application calls for. That is what lets 480 V machinery run on a 208 V service, an inverter feed a higher-voltage bus, or a long cable run arrive at the far end with usable voltage.
We wind each unit to your precise turns ratio, VA rating, frequency, and mounting footprint, in single-phase or three-phase, isolated or autotransformer construction. Our engineers spec the right approach for free — and every unit is individually tested before it ships, not batch-sampled.
Applications
Where Step-Up Transformers Are Used
Wherever the supply is lower than the equipment needs — imported machinery, inverter output, and long feeder runs.
Imported & Export Equipment
Match 208 / 240 V service to 380–480 V gear built for another market — or the reverse.
Industrial Machinery
Bring higher-voltage motors, presses, and CNC equipment onto an existing service.
Renewable Energy
Raise inverter output to grid or distribution voltage in solar and storage installations.
Long Runs & Voltage Drop
Boost at the source so voltage arrives within tolerance at the far end of a long feed.
