Wound to Spec
Isolation Transformers, Wound to Spec
An isolation transformer separates its primary and secondary windings completely, so there is no direct electrical path between the supply and the load. That break does three things at once: it removes the ground reference that makes a shock hazard, it blocks common-mode noise and ground loops, and it lets you derive a new, cleanly bonded neutral for sensitive equipment.
We wind 1:1 isolation transformers and custom ratios in 480, 240, 208, and 120 V, single-phase or three-phase, with electrostatic (Faraday) shielding between windings where noise rejection or leakage current is critical — including medical-grade designs. Our engineers spec shielding, insulation system, and enclosure for free, and every unit is individually hipot- and ratio-tested before it ships.
Applications
Where Isolation Transformers Are Used
Wherever equipment has to be separated from the supply — for patient safety, for noise rejection, or for a clean, separately derived ground.
Medical Equipment
Medical-grade isolation with controlled leakage current for patient-vicinity equipment.
Sensitive Electronics & Labs
Clean, separately derived power for instrumentation, test benches, and precision gear.
Industrial Noise Rejection
Break ground loops and block common-mode noise between plant supply and control gear.
IT & Data
Isolated, shielded power feeding server rooms, network closets, and critical loads.
