Pacific Transformer Partners with George Alessandro to Launch Pacific Audio Magnetics
Pacific Transformer, a leading manufacturer of magnetic components, announces it has partnered with George Alessandro to launch the brand's first product line of classic vacuum tube, guitar amp transformers for the most discerning, tone-seeking musician and builders.
Through this partnership, Pacific Transformer and George Alessandro provide power transformers, output transformers, chokes, and reverb drivers. The product line, known as Pacific Audio Magnetics, is manufactured by hand in California using vintage-spec materials. Three distinct lines are offered:
- Vintage Replica Line: Sonic and electrical reproductions of vintage magnetics from 1950s-60s amplifiers
- Evolution Series: Expands on vintage designs with international power support, multi-volt taps, and improved materials
- Signature Series: Clean-sheet designs engineered for optimal sound quality without template constraints
